Support the youth leadership by being a part of the Parent Support Team.
The vision of the Parent Support Team is to
:
Share the administrative load;
Cultivate an interdependent parent community, and;
Reach out to the un-churched parents of teens who visit Roots Youth.
It looks a little like this:
Administrative things that take a load off of Pastor Matt's desk and give him time to spend in God's Word and with our kids.
Our Community/Connecting group focuses on:
Connecting parents of teens with one another. Sussex county is pretty spread out,and as the church grows you may not realize who lives near you that attends SEFC and has a teenager.
Cultivating relationships with every parent of a teenager so that we can help one another as we raise our kids.
Committing to find resources and/or the mentoring you desire to help you grow in godliness as you pursue raising godly teenagers.
An Outreach team is committed to being there when newcomers bring their student to an activity. These conversation-starters can blossom into dialogue the communicates that our ministry is not only to their teenager, but their entire family.
