.ai Illustrator and InDesign

1) Always use vector art/Illustrator files in .eps or .ai format where
possible, before bitmap/Photoshop files in .jpg or .tif format for logos.
Vectors are made up of lines and hard edges, and are NOT
resolution-dependent (ie: can resize any which way without loss).
Bitmaps are photographic images that can only be used AT SIZE or
REDUCED SIZED (in same proportions) to maintain the image
integrity, and dots don't become enlarged and fuzzy like tennis balls.
Because of this, we've included a number of sizes and formats
with this master to be used with discretion in the application of choice.
(NOTE: for printing, graphics and images are recommended to be
300 dpi at FINAL size; web graphics only 72 dpi. Pantone colors
are not allowable in 4-color pieces; use CMYK conversion, or B&W)

 

2) Do not alter logos, dissect logos (use parts only), reverse logos,
add shadows, or change type style or fonts. The logo and typefaces are
part of a brand mark that is to be used as indicated, in its entirety.

 

3) In some programs (ie: Quark Xpress), graphic files saved as .tiffs
can be colorized in the Quark document. This should not be utilized.

 

4) This logo usees only the follow color applications:
-Black alone
-Black w/Green Cross, PMS 349U
-or reversed, all White on dark b'ground
