Throughout the Music & Worship Ministry, our purpose is to worship God earnestly as directed by the Word of God; to equip, empower and encourage God's people to serve Him according to their spiritual gifts and abilities.

 

 

As you read our purpose statement, you may think that it seems somewhat general and not as specific to music.  Well, there is truth to that, because our Music & Worship Ministry comprises a wide variety of ministries, hence we identified the purpose that is crucial to each ministry within.  We live for that purpose in each area of ministry.

That means more than singing hymns and choruses for the sake of pleasing people.  It means that there are time-tested songs that are a part of our Christian heritage that we joyfully cling to because of the solidity of their content.  It also means that as long as the Lord continues to work in the lives of people there will be new, contemporary music with equally good content.  In both the old and the new, we will cling tightly to the songs that glorify God in their biblical content, edify the body of Christ and draw each believer into a more intimate relationship the Jesus.
