We strive to make nursery as safe, clean, and secure as possible, so parents feel comfortable leaving their little ones. Some ways we are doing this include the use of universal precautions, including latex free gloves for diaper changes, child information cards, personal ID badges, and regular disinfecting of toys and supplies. We need the cooperation of both parents and nursery workers to maintain these standards.
In order to insure the health and safety of our children and staff, please refrain from bringing in a child with ANY of the following symptoms (within the last 24 hours):
- Fever
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Runny nose (except from teething)
- Persistent cough
- Rash/Open sores
- Discharge in/around the eyes
- ANY COMMUNICABLE DISEASES
If your child is being treated with an antibiotic, he/she must have received treatment for at least 24 hours before being admitted to the nursery.
